2014 IC Network AGM
Dear Friends of IC Network:
With appreciation of your support and association during the past year, the Board of Directors of IC Network would like to take this opportunity and extend its very best wishes to you and yours for 2014.
This is to inform you about our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and in conjunction to extending our warmest invitation to you; we look forward to your continued support and participation at this event. We welcome new members and we encourage everyone to consider our membership in order to have a voice at the upcoming AGM.
In order to fulfill the membership provisions of our By-law, the Board of Directors have set 12:00 pm on Monday January 27th, 2014 as the cut-off date for submission of the new membership applications.All existing members shall renew their membership prior to the AGM to be eligible to participate in the voting process.The annual membership fee for the new members and the cost of renewal of existing memberships is $20.00. The membership fee could be paid by cheque (payable to: Iranian Canadian Network) OR cash latest on the day of the AGM.
For the members that would not be able to attend the AGM, there would be proxy for voting which could be requested prior to that day.For membership and proxy form request, kindly e-mail us at info@icnetwork.ca.All received membership applications after the above noted due date will be still considered members but would not be able to vote in the AGM.
The Board of Directors has decided to increase its directors from 5 to 7 members. We encourage those with minimum 1 year of membership (as per our By-law provisions) to nominate yourself or anyone else that would be interested and deemed fit for this category.
